Thirty-Three Tools, Eight Easter Eggs, One Long Night

Yesterday’s twenty-two tools were the warm-up. Today the site got rebuilt top to bottom — new dark theme with the neon green I’ve been using since the OneClickIT days, new homepage, new About page, and eleven new tools pushed in one marathon session.

The batch that filled the gaps

Time Zone Converter — because scheduling across time zones is a weekly annoyance. Final Grade Calculator and GPA Calculator for the students. Time Card Calculator for the people who bill by the hour. Bandwidth Calculator, Fuel Cost, Electricity Cost, and Speed, Distance & Time for the practical stuff. Case Converter when the caps lock betrayal strikes. The Randomizer for dice and coin flips. And the JSON Formatter with a parser I wrote by hand, plus a hash and Base64 encoder — the two dev tools I end up opening a browser tab for constantly.

Eight easter eggs

A site this personal deserves secrets. There are now eight hidden pages: Is It Friday?, Matrix Rain, the Insecurity Generator, a Tech Excuse Generator (“the DNS is round-robining again”), a fake terminal that plays ping, and a few more I’m not going to name — that’s what makes them easter eggs. One of them is a console secret you’ll only find if you open dev tools and snoop around. If you know, you know.

Thirty-three, and counting

The score after today: 33 published tools and 8 easter eggs, every one built in-house, all of them running entirely in your browser with no accounts and no paywalls. The whole codebase is version-controlled, tested — 63 automated test cases and 41 browser checks ran green before launch — and documented page by page.

Next up: the network tools I keep promising, and the honest answer to why this site will never have a real ping tool.
