Network Tools

Real network lookups that actually run in your browser. The Gizmo 421 network tools query live DNS resolvers, public registry data, and address space directly from your device — no backend relay servers, nothing logged, no sign-up. Built by an IT engineer who got tired of ad-choked lookup sites.

Why no ping or traceroute? Browsers cannot send raw ICMP packets, so any site claiming to do that is running the pings on their own servers. Everything here is real, direct, and runs on your device.

Each of these is a front end to an open, public API — DNS-over-HTTPS for the resolver queries, RDAP for registry data, and public IP echo services for the address lookup. Everything is fetched directly by your browser; there is no intermediary server of ours in the path, and no query history is stored anywhere on our side.
