Case Converter

SHOUTING, whispering, camelCase, snake_case — writers and developers both spend a weird amount of time re-typing the same words in different costumes. The Gizmo 421 Case Converter does all of them in one click: UPPER, lower, Title, Sentence, camel, Pascal, snake, kebab, and CONSTANT case.

Title Case follows the editorial convention of leaving small words (a, an, the, and, of, to, and friends) lowercase unless they start or end the title. The developer cases split existing camelCase and punctuation properly — paste “APIResponseObject” and it knows where the boundaries are, so the snake_case is api_response_object, not a_p_i_response_object. Sentence case capitalizes after every period, question mark, exclamation point, and line break, and calms the rest of your Caps Lock accidents down.

What is camelCase? First word lowercase, every following word capitalized, no spaces — the standard for JavaScript variables. What’s the difference between PascalCase and camelCase? PascalCase also capitalizes the first word; classes and C# developers prefer it. Does Title Case handle small words? Yes — it keeps articles and short prepositions lowercase except at the start and end of the title. Is my text uploaded anywhere? No — every transformation happens in your browser, instantly.
